Please note: Hog Hollow is situated on the edge of the gorge, so it is not suitable for wheelchairs or people who have mobility or related diability issues.
There are unfenced pools and dams on the property so children must at all times be accompanied by their parents and/or legal guardians.
There is no television or wi-fi in the suites at the lodge, there is a communal TV in the far lounge at the main house and one in the children’s playroom.
Wif-fi is accessible in the main lodge areas and is complimentary .

CHILDREN’S TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • The rates above include a special complimentary kiddies’ dinner, breakfast and accommodation.
  • The rate remains the same whether children eat meals or not.
  • Children 2 & under sharing with parents have complimentary dinner bed and breakfast.
  • An additional amount is charged on top of the DBB rate if the children prefer to have the same menu as their parents.
  • Children under 12 or sharing accommodation can either dine earlier at 6pm or join their parents at the main dining time of 7.30pm.
  • Babysitting available on request. Charged per hour or part thereof
  • We have two cots available on a first-come-first-serve basis, which are complimentary.
  • There is a playroom in the main lodge area for children, with TV, DVDs and games.
  • There is no television or wi-fi in any of the suites.
  • Wi-fi access is complimentary and accessible in the main lodge areas.
  • Children & adults to please be aware at all times of noise factors regarding other guests.
  • Children are at all times the responsibility of their parents and/or legal guardians.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STAY

RATES

  • Include a full farmhouse breakfast.
  • Include VAT at the current rate of 15%.
  • Subject to change without prior notice.

ARRIVAL is at 14h00

DEPARTURE is at 11h00

MINIMUM LENGTH OF STAY FOR THE VILLAS

  • Two nights.
  • From 16 Dec to 10 Jan each year minimum 3 night stay.
  • Over the Easter holidays each year a minimum three nights’ stay.

DEPOSITS

  • 100% of total cost of stay 30 days prior to stay, or a valid credit card number with expiry date – a 50% deposit will be deducted to secure booking.
  • Mastercard & Visa cards - we require the three digit code. Amex, the 4 digit code.
  • No AMEX or DINERS cards are accepted for payment from Agents/Operators.

GROUP TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • RATES: include B&B and VAT at the current rate of 15%. SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE
  • ARRIVAL: From 14h00 & DEPARTURE is at 11h00
  • FULL PAYMENT AND FINAL ROOMING LIST required 90 days prior to arrival by bank transfer, or by valid credit card number (and three digit code for Visa and Mastercards) for full deduction. Please note: we do not accept Amex or Diners cards as payments from Agents or Operators

CANCELLATION POLICY

FIT CANCELLATION

  1. Cancellations between seven and thirty days before arrival will result in 50% of the total cost of stay being withheld.
  2. In the event of cancellation within six days of arrival, there will be no refund.
  3. In the event of premature departure, we may charge for the full extent of stay which was booked and confirmed.
  4. Receipt of a deposit or credit card number or voucher number assumes unconditional agreement of these terms.
  5. In the case of Tour Operators and or Travel Agents, a written confirmation assumes unconditional agreement of these terms.
  6. Cancellations must be received in writing.

GROUP CANCELLATION

  1. Cancellations between ninety and thirty days before arrival will result in 50% of the total cost of stay being withheld.
  2. Cancellations between twenty nine and fifteen days, there will be a 75% cancellation fee.
  3. In the event of cancellation within fourteen days of arrival, there will be no refund.
  4. In the event of premature departure, we may charge for the full extent of stay which was booked and confirmed.
  5. A written confirmation from Tour Operators and Travel Agents assumes unconditional agreement of these terms.
  6. Cancellations must be received in writing.

GUIDE POLICY

Guides/drivers staying at the lodge, pay the same rates as above.

THIRD ADULT SHARING

We have a policy of NO THIRD adult sharing a room.

LEVIES

We do not charge levies, including TOMSA levies

TIPS & GRATUITIES

Tips are shared amongst all members of staff, and can either be done via credit card or in cash in the tip box at reception.

The rates quoted within the dates stipulated above are our correct and only rate structure, E&OE

HOG HOLLOW COUNTRY LODGE WILL:
